ACCA January 2021 Intake – Important Announcement
How will my classes be conducted now?
As of 12-Jan-2021, we are seeing thousands of daily infections and KL & Selangor remained as Red-Zones and still under a Conditional-Movement Control Order. We see that face-2-face classes may significantly increase the risk of our students and community being exposed to covid-19 infection. Therefore, all F2F classes are converted to Virtual Live until 28-Feb-2021. A further announcement will be made in the middle of February 2021.
To-do List, before my first class.
We have prepared a series of videos on various important information, and maybe you can get started by watching these videos while waiting for the course to commence:
Please join our Telegram group
This is our ACCA MCKL channel to send important announcements. Our details like notes collection will also be sent through Telegram link.
You can join the channel using this invite link here: https://t.me/joinchat/So1miO8qdt5cYnRN
What should I do for the first class?
You will be added to the respective Whatsapp group for each subject, 3 days prior to the first class. If you have enrolled and have not been added to the group, please contact us. By signing up for our ACCA programme, you have consented to be allowed to be added to the Whatsapp group. However, if you do not wish to be added to the Whatsapp group, please notify Mr. Jonathan. However, please note that the Whatsapp group will be important for:
- Lecturers to send out important notices to your class
- Sharing of Zoom Link for the virtual live class
- Forum discussion – like asking your subject related questions within-group
What if I missed the Virtual live class?
All classes are recorded and be made available to you. Therefore, if you are unable to attend the virtual live class, you can still view them online at a later date. The key difference of virtual live class as compared to online, is the ability to ask question directly through the live-chat or mic. You can still ask questions through the Whatsapp group. You can access your video from this link:

How do I collect my course material?
Your lecture notes, resources are made available online – you can download them from the subject page. We are also printing hard-copy lecture notes. You can self-collect or request to be couriered to you (with a fee). You should have been given a link for notes collection – to indicate your preference. Contact Mr Jonathan if you are not sure what to do.
Due to MCO 2.0 enforcement, the delivery of hard copy notes may be interrupted as the college is not allowed to operate at full capacity. We apologise and sincerely request your kind understanding.
Thank you and welcome again to ACCA @ MCKL.
